How Much Co2 You Need in the Jets?

How Long Do Tanks Last?

We have a tank information image that we will have a link below in this video. If you’re on YouTube, that shows you the tanks. The tanks are the ones that control the time. 20 pound tanks last 40 seconds, 50 pound tanks last about a minute, 15 minute, 30 depending on the temperature outside.

Now, you can combine multiple Co2 Jets or Co2 tanks to get more Co2 so when you’re ordering from us, you want to make sure you notate how long you want each of your devices. This should be the case whether you want handheld, stage mounted or trust mounted.  Regardless of device type, how long that device needs to spray Co2 total. If you have a three-second burst, and you want 10 three second bursts, you’re going to need about 30 seconds.

This is because special effects always has the valve all the way open. So, we time the amount of liquid that’s coming out of the tank. But gas, you can really regulate the gas, you can have different size orifices on what you’re using different sized equipment, you can throttle it down.

There are so many factors that go into the gas. It’s really hard to pinpoint how long the gas is going to be used or how long the Co2 jets or tanks will last and how much you need.
