“Liberty and Justice For All” was the theme of the San Diego Pride Parade 2015. With a massive appeal that continues to grow each year, more than 100,000 participants and spectators were in attendance for the annual event. The growth of the San Diego Pride Parade has led to several events that provide additional excitement and entertainment. CryoFX® was featured to provide special effects at the San Diego Music Festival.
San Diego Pride Block Party 2015
What’s more, celebrating its fourth year, the Pride of Hillcrest Block Party had a sensational crowd. To electrify the audience, JES was the featured DJ for the event. Held on Friday, July 21, 2015, the Pride Block Party 2015 featured dancing, cocktails and an amazing party atmosphere from 6pm to 11pm.
Pride 5K Run and Walk 2015
Furthermore, on Saturday, July 18, 2015, the Pride 5K Run and Walk started at 9:30am. Therace began and endedon University Avenue at Centre Street. Contestants and vendors alike maintained positive vibes as high energy music, provided by DJ Kray-Z-K ( iLikeThatDJ Ent. ) filled the streets. Andrew Falkiewicz had the fastest time for male finishers, and Elaine Ribeiro recorded the fastest time among female finishers. Sponsorships for the Pride 5K Run and Walk 2015 were received from the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation, Renuance, Fix Body Group, LARABAR and ROADRUNNER SPORTS.
San Diego Pride Parade 2015
Hurricane Delores could not stop the excitement of the Pride Parade 2015 in San Diego. Proclaimed as the wettest Pride Parade, the rain did not prevent participants from having a great time. Held on July 18, 2015, the Pride Parade provides support and activities for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Since 1975, the annual LGBT Pride Parade officially takes place in San Diego to uphold the worldwide pride and respect of its communities.
Pride Music Festival 2015
Held in Balboa Park on July 18, 2015 and July 19, 2015, the Pride Music Festival featured plenty of entertainment including the likes of Ideal ft. Kaleena Zanders, Dj Kray-Z-K, Ruby Rose, Emma Hewitt, and Carmen Electra to name a few. Exhibitors, comedians, vendors and hundreds of entertainers provided a memorable event that kept the crowd engaged. Also, CryoFX® had technicians onsite at the start and the conclusion of each day. During the two-day event, CryoFX® Swing Jets and a CryoFX® Custom System help to enhance the 3D experience.
Furthermore, CryoFX® Swing Jets were strategically placed in certain corners. Simulated servers were available to ignite the firing of CryoFX® Swing Jets. From every corner of the event, spectators were able to view large burst of Co2 Smoke from the CryoFX® Swing Jets.
Also, CryoFX® helped to customize and to coordinate the amount of Co2 Smoke Special Effects needed for various stages. On the main stage, two CryoFX® LED Jets were available. The Euphoria stage featured two CryoFX® DMX Switchable Jets. Also, the CryoFX® Co2 LED Gun was on stage to excite and to cool the crowd.
