The CryoFX Remote Carbon Dioxide CO2 Storage Safety 3 Alarm (CFX-RAD-0102-6-HS2) is a professional fixed CO2 gas detection system designed to continuously monitor carbon dioxide concentrations and provide immediate notification whenever hazardous gas levels are detected. Formerly known as the CFX-RAD-0102-6, this commercial-grade safety monitor combines a highly accurate CO2 sensor with a dedicated remote display and horn strobe, allowing personnel to monitor gas concentrations from a convenient location while maintaining audible and visual alarm notification throughout the protected area.

Carbon dioxide is colorless, odorless, and can rapidly displace oxygen, creating potentially dangerous conditions in enclosed spaces. The CFX-RAD-0102-6-HS2 continuously measures CO2 concentrations and immediately alerts personnel when programmable alarm thresholds are exceeded, helping reduce the risk of overexposure while protecting employees, customers, and facility operations.

Unlike standard single-location monitors, the CFX-RAD-0102-6-HS2 includes a remote display unit, allowing live gas concentration readings, alarm status, and system information to be viewed away from the sensor location. This provides increased installation flexibility while improving visibility for operators, supervisors, and emergency responders.

Three programmable relays allow automatic activation of ventilation fans or communication with building automation systems and fire alarm panels during alarm conditions. The integrated 4–20 mA output further expands system integration by supporting remote monitoring and display equipment.

The modular CryoFX platform also allows your gas monitoring system to grow as your facility expands. Compatible accessories include additional remote displays, centralized display units capable of monitoring up to 12 sensors, power monitoring modules, and auxiliary horn strobe kits for larger installations.

Installation is straightforward with disconnectable cabling, included mounting hardware, and plug-in operation requiring minimal setup. For permanent commercial installations, an optional 24VDC hardwired power configuration is also available.

Installation Notes

The CFX-RAD-0102-6-HS2 is designed for quick installation using the included mounting hardware and disconnectable cables. For hardwired installations, an optional 110VAC to 24VDC power converter is available.
