If you are looking for a mobile CO2 Cryo system, the Cryo Gun Pack T35 is designed specifically for that type of application. It is lightweight, compact, self-contained, and built around fast setup and easy transportation. The major components arrive configured for the package, allowing you to connect the system and prepare it for use without assembling a complicated collection of separate parts.

The included 35 lb CO2 tank provides a practical balance between portability and CO2 capacity. It is small enough to transport in many vehicles while still carrying enough CO2 for repeated effect use throughout an event, depending on firing duration and frequency. This makes the T35 package particularly useful for DJs, mobile entertainers, event companies, production crews, venues, and special effects professionals that need a system they can transport from one event or performance to another.

The CO2 tank is shipped EMPTY, so CO2 is not included with the package. Before operating your CryoFX Cryo Gun, you will need to take the tank to an appropriate gas supplier and have it filled with CO2. Filling costs vary by supplier and location, but a fill is commonly around the $30 range.

Do not exchange the included tank. Have the tank filled.

The tank supplied with this package is not a standard CO2 tank. It is a specially configured CO2 siphon tank. A siphon tank contains an internal tube extending toward the bottom of the cylinder so that liquid CO2 can be drawn from the tank. Liquid CO2 delivery is required for Cryo equipment to create the dense, high-output CO2 effect the system is designed to produce.

Smaller 35 lb CO2 cylinders do not commonly include this siphon configuration. Because of that, some users unfamiliar with proper CO2 effects equipment attempt to turn a standard CO2 cylinder upside down in order to access liquid CO2. This is extremely dangerous and should not be done.

CryoFX eliminates that problem by providing a properly configured 35 lb CO2 siphon tank with the package. The tank can remain upright during normal operation while supplying the liquid CO2 required by the Cryo Gun.

When taking the cylinder to a gas supplier, you may occasionally encounter personnel who are unfamiliar with a siphon-equipped tank in this smaller size because siphon tubes are more commonly associated with larger cylinders. The included tank has been specially adapted with this feature. A siphon conversion alone can normally cost more than $70 when added separately.

The tanks are also hydro tested, meaning the cylinder has undergone the required pressure testing process and is suitable for service within its applicable certification period.

The CryoFX high-pressure CO2 hose and Cryo Gun included with the T35 package are supplied with quick disconnect fittings already installed. This allows the hose to be quickly connected or disconnected from the Cryo Gun when transporting, setting up, or breaking down the system.

The quick disconnect fittings incorporate closed ends when disconnected, helping prevent CO2 from freely discharging through the fitting if disconnected while pressure remains in the system. Disconnecting components while the system is under pressure is still not recommended, and proper depressurization and operating procedures should always be followed.

One of the biggest advantages of the Cryo Gun Pack T35 is its simplicity. No electricity is required. There are no power cables, electrical outlets, warm-up periods, or electrical control systems required to create the effect.

Simply connect the high-pressure CO2 hose to the Cryo Gun, connect the other end of the hose to the CO2 siphon tank, follow the supplied operating and safety procedures, and the system is ready for use.

The Cryo Gun produces an approximately 25'-35'+ foot long (7-10 meter+) CO2 stream that can reach approximately 5'-7' feet wide depending on temp and humidity. The result is a large, highly visible burst of white CO2 that can be aimed and controlled directly by the operator.

That handheld control is what makes a CO2 Cryo Gun different from many stationary stage effects. An operator can direct the effect toward different areas of a venue, move with a performer, interact with a crowd, accent a DJ drop, punctuate a musical transition, create a dramatic entrance, or fire coordinated bursts during key moments of a live production.

For entertainment applications, this allows the Cryo Gun to become part of the performance itself rather than simply another effect positioned on stage.

The effect has some visual similarities to a fog effect, but CO2 behaves very differently. The visible CO2 cloud does not linger in the same manner as traditional theatrical fog, does not leave the same type of fluid-based residue or odor, and dissipates quickly after firing stops.

Once the operator releases the Cryo Gun trigger, the visible CO2 cloud typically disappears within seconds. This makes it possible to create dramatic, short-duration bursts throughout a performance without continuously filling the venue with a lingering atmospheric effect.

The expanding CO2 also produces a powerful cooling effect in the immediate area of discharge. In crowded entertainment environments, that combination of a sudden white plume, high-output movement, sound, and noticeable cooling sensation can create a strong audience reaction and turn a musical drop, performer entrance, or peak event moment into a much larger sensory experience.

Instead of simply watching another lighting cue or stage transition, the audience can see and physically experience the effect happening around them. That is one of the reasons handheld CO2 effects have become such a recognizable component of nightlife, concert, DJ, and live entertainment productions.

The T35 package is also expandable and customizable.
