Cryo LED Gun

The CryoFX Handheld CO2 LED Gun is a plug-and-play handheld CO2 effects system designed for nightclubs, bars, concerts, stage productions, live performances, special events, haunted attractions, DJ performances, and entertainment environments where a standard Cryo effect needs added visual impact.

Unlike a standard handheld CO2 gun, this model incorporates an LED light-up tube that adds another visual layer to the effect while the gun is being operated. The current design also includes LED illumination at the front of the nozzle, helping light the CO2 cloud itself as it exits the gun and creating a more dramatic visual presentation during live use.

The system is designed for fast setup and mobile use. Simply connect the included high-pressure CO2 hose to the gun, connect the opposite end to a compatible CO2 tank, follow the supplied operating and safety procedures, and the system can be ready for use within minutes.

This package includes:

Note: The current design includes LED lights positioned at the front of the nozzle in addition to the illuminated tube, allowing the lighting system to further illuminate the CO2 cloud during operation.

The included CryoFX high-pressure CO2 hose and Handheld Cryo LED Gun are supplied with quick disconnect fittings already installed. This allows the hose to be connected or removed quickly during setup, transportation, and breakdown, helping keep the system easy to deploy for mobile entertainment and live production applications.

No electricity is required to operate the CO2 effect itself. The Cryo LED Gun operates from CO2 pressure, so there is no need to run electrical power to the gun in order to produce the effect.

The integrated LED lighting system requires 8 AA batteries. The LED lighting operates independently from the CO2 system, meaning the light does not affect the operation, performance, or CO2 output of the Cryo LED Gun. The gun can continue to function as a CO2 effects device regardless of whether the LED lighting is turned on.

Setup is intentionally straightforward. Connect the high-pressure hose to the Cryo LED Gun, connect the opposite end to the appropriate CO2 tank fitting, follow the supplied safety procedures, and the system is ready for operation.

The CryoFX CO2 LED Gun produces an approximately 35'-45'+ foot long CO2 stream with an effect width of approximately 4'-5' feet. This creates a large, highly visible white CO2 plume that can be directed by the operator toward different areas of a venue or stage.

Because the unit is handheld, the operator is not limited to a fixed firing position. The effect can be aimed and moved during a performance, allowing an entertainer, DJ, performer, special effects technician, or production crew member to direct CO2 bursts toward different areas at different moments.

That makes the Cryo LED Gun especially effective for DJ drops, performer entrances, musical transitions, stage cues, crowd interaction, headline moments, VIP presentations, venue activations, and peak-energy sections of a live event.

The LED illumination adds another dimension to those moments. Instead of producing only a white CO2 plume, the illuminated tube and nozzle lighting can make the gun itself part of the visual presentation while also increasing the visibility of the CO2 cloud in dark entertainment environments.

In a nightclub or concert setting, this allows the performer or operator to move through an environment already filled with lighting, video, lasers, strobes, and other stage effects while adding a handheld effect that is both visually noticeable and physically interactive.

The audience does not simply see the CO2 effect from a distance. Depending on how and where the system is used, they can experience the sudden visual burst, movement of the plume, sound of the discharge, and rapid cooling effect that occurs when the CO2 is released.

This combination can make the Cryo LED Gun particularly useful for entertainment productions where the goal is to create a stronger reaction around a specific cue rather than simply adding another background visual.

The visual effect can resemble theatrical fog in appearance, but CO2 behaves differently. The visible CO2 cloud dissipates quickly after firing and does not linger in the same manner as many traditional fog effects.

The CO2 effect also does not rely on fog fluid, meaning it does not produce the same type of fluid-based residue or odor associated with some theatrical fog systems. The visible cloud typically disappears within seconds after the operator stops firing the gun.

This allows the operator to create repeated short-duration effects throughout a performance without continuously filling the space with a lingering cloud. It also gives production teams greater control over exactly when the visual effect appears and when it disappears.

For mobile DJs, event companies, special effects companies, venues, and production teams, the Cryo LED Gun provides a compact way to add a handheld CO2 effect with integrated visual lighting without requiring a powered stage effect machine at the firing position.

The 25-foot included hose provides useful operating range for many standard entertainment applications, while custom hose lengths can be ordered for layouts requiring a different distance between the operator and the CO2 source.
