The CryoFX Solenoid Shut Off Valve with Wiring (CFX-SV-1029-W) is an automatic CO2 safety shut-off valve designed to immediately stop the flow of carbon dioxide whenever a connected CryoFX gas monitoring system detects hazardous CO2 concentrations. Installed directly on the gas supply line, this electrically actuated solenoid valve provides an additional layer of protection by helping isolate the gas source before elevated CO2 levels continue to increase within the monitored area.

When used with compatible CryoFX CO2 monitoring systems, the valve operates through one of the monitoring system's programmable safety relays. As soon as the monitor enters a configured alarm condition, the relay automatically energizes the solenoid valve, shutting off the gas supply without requiring operator intervention. This rapid response helps reduce continued CO2 discharge while allowing facility personnel to safely investigate and correct the source of the leak.

The CFX-SV-1029-W is commonly installed on bulk CO2 storage systems, beverage carbonation equipment, restaurants, breweries, bars, wineries, laboratories, dry ice storage systems, indoor agriculture, food processing facilities, industrial gas storage rooms, and commercial compressed CO2 installations where automatic gas isolation is desired or required by facility safety procedures.

The assembly includes a 24VDC power supply, allowing straightforward integration with compatible CryoFX monitoring equipment. The standard 3/8-inch valve is commonly used throughout the beverage and hospitality industry. For installations utilizing rigid pipe or tubing—such as indoor agriculture and industrial processing applications—CryoFX also offers a 1/2-inch shut-off valve option for larger plumbing configurations.
